Professionals: headshots for the new year

Green_Bay_Headshots_Professional_Business_PhotosThe new year is a great time to start thinking about your online presence as a professional.  (Nobody wants to hire someone from LinkedIn, whose profile photo was cut from a family Christmas picture.)  Headshots are a great idea for any working professional – whether you are looking to move into a new position, start a business, or just create a professional online presence for yourself.  Clients want to know who they are working with and businesses want to know who they are hiring; a clean, professional image, fitting the industry you work in does a great deal to give a good first impression.

Branding: salty couture jewelry line

Salty Couture_Green Bay_Jewelry

I love branding sessions – I love meeting entrepreneurs and getting to know their brand identity.  I think a lot of this passion for branding came from my minor in design while getting my bachelors degree.  Working in graphic design taught me technical abilities, but more importantly, it taught me how to express a mood and to see touching points of a company as a seamless story.  For me, this means building an overall vision and following through with it for everything from lifestyle to product shots.

When I met with Shanna, we got along right from the beginning.  Her jewelry line, Salty Couture, is about a sort of natural glamour – a wind in your hair, out on the town kind of beauty.  There is something so appealing about this fresh and expressive form of jewelry and company philosophy.  Danielle was our talented model and her carefree beauty was exactly what we needed – a special thanks to her!

All images will soon be a part of Shanna’s website and social media sites, but in the meantime, her jewelry is as gorgeous as ever – check it out here:  Salty Couture

Branding Session: jenstar yoga and dance

Working with people who are passionate about what they do is the absolute best.  Jen is the owner of Jenstar Yoga and Dance and just opened a new studio in De Pere. She is incredibly talented, inspiring, and (need I say it) photogenic. 😉 Many of you will know her from her Yoga on the Deck classes she teaches on the Citydeck in summer. This month she has opened a beauitful new studio in historic De Pere and is celebrating a milestone both professionally and personally.

The classes Jen teaches are not just about strengthening your body, but about gaining perspective on who you are and where you’re going.  They are about learning to accept yourself just as you are, and celebrating your little accomplishments along the way.  We had such a wonderful afternoon at Jen’s studio creating new images for her website and studio space!  If you are looking to learn more about Jenstar’s classes, you can find her online at http://www.jenstaryoga.com .
