Maribel Caves Senior Photos, Wisconsin

Green Bay Senior Photographer Maribel Caves WisconsinWhen Will began planning for his senior session, there was no question on where it would be held. Will loves the outdoors and spends lots of time hiking and hanging out at Maribel Caves County Park in Maribel Wisconsin, just a short drive from his home in Denmark.

Aside from enjoying the outdoors, Will is a talented trumpet player and the captain of his soccer team at Denmark High School. We worked each of these things into the session including a few photos with the happiest pup ever.

Thanks for taking us on a hike with a side of photography on a beautiful early fall day. Enjoy your senior year, Will!

Green Bay Senior Photographer High School Senior PhotosWe love when families of high school seniors return! We get to find out what they’ve been up to in their new [grown-up] lives and meet the younger sibling whose turn it is to step into the spotlight. After photographing Ethan, it was Cara’s turn!

Green Bay Senior Photographer

Cara is a fashion lover like myself, so planning her session was extra fun for me! We always discuss clothing during our consults and oftentimes seniors send me pictures of their wardrobe options with questions or seeking feedback. It’s the best. Cara chose a wide range of clothing from casual denim to a blue floral wrap dress (my favorite!)

We decided to do the entire session at Green Bay Botanical Gardens because of the great variety it offers — woods, brick, flowers, fountain — it’s got it all! Midway through the session, the clouds grew heavy and we ducked into shelter just in time for rain to fall. Luckily for us it was light and brief and we were able to step back out into a garden made even more vibrant by the rainfall. (I love when things work out like that!)

Rustic Senior Photos in Green Bay, Wisconsin

Green Bay Senior Photographer Green Bay High School Senior PhotographerWhen we planned for Bryce’s senior session, I knew a rustic location was a must! We always want to help seniors and their families select a location that feels like them. Senior photos should be unique and customized to the person in the photos. We sent some location options Bryce’s way and he selected a log cabin location in Green Bay and Fonferek Glen which we love for its rustic old granary and tall, grassy fields.

We had great weather for his session. The sun was warm and bright and the evening finished with pink skies. We even got to include photos with his dog and his truck which was extra fun! Congratulations on this milestone, Bryce, and best wishes on everything yet to come!

Downtown Green Bay Senior Session on the Citydeck

Downtown Green Bay Senior Photos Senior Portrait Photographer Green BaySometimes high school seniors are looking for something sweet and simple. They don’t want to travel across the city for different locations or have full wardrobe changes onsite. And that’s great. We want to give you a relaxed experience and beautiful images, however we can best make that happen. We love a simple golden hour session, especially when it involves the Green Bay Citydeck! I’m a waterfront lover myself (blame it on my Door County roots) so anytime we get to shoot along the river, I’m pleased.

Bryce’s session was on a hot August evening with lots of golden sunshine. We captured some photos along the water, then headed around the corner for some downtown shots with brick and a more urban look. Bryce is thoughtful, observant, independent, and easy to be around. We enjoyed photographing his session and wish him the best of luck in all that comes next!

Having attended a small, country high school myself, I always have a soft spot for seniors from rural schools coming into Green Bay for their senior photos. I remember what it was like to graduate with 86 people and want to find a way to set myself apart.

When we began planning for Morgan’s senior session she knew one thing she for sure did not want, and one things she for sure did want. She didn’t want anything downtown or urban. Bucking the trends of brick and city scenes, Morgan is a country girl at heart with a love for hunting, sports, and working with her hands. The thing she knew she did want was variety. Because of that, we recommended two locations that would make it look like we made four separate stops — field, woods, granary at Fonferek Glen in Green Bay and limestone escarpment and sunset beach photos in New Franken.

Morgan is a do it all kind of girl. She rocked the dress and lipstick in a warm, glowy field, showed her badass side in her Shiocton High School letter jacket, then switched into camo and hiked into the woods with her bow. The bright yellow leaves remind us that it was the last week of October, but if you saw her wading into the waterfall or walking along the beach in shorts, you would have no idea that she was the least bit cold. We know Morgan will be able to take on anything!

Fall Citydeck Senior Photos, Downtown Green Bay

Green Bay Senior Photographer Downtown Citydeck PhotosI cannot express how excited I am to share these images! Miranda’s session had all the things I love best: golden sunlight, fall color, and cute clothes. It was such a pleasure to get to know her, hear about her life, and enjoy the October weather.

When Miranda called to start planning her senior session, we were immediately struck by how independent and decisive she is. This girl knows what she wants and chases after it; we have no doubt that she will achieve anything she puts her mind to. Planning a session in fall, she knew she wanted a place that was woodsy enough to have fall color but still had a meadow area with long grasses. We had the perfect location in mind! Following that up, she was hoping for a waterfront locale, and after a few different options, we chose the Citydeck which worked perfect with her outfit.

We got to share Miranda’s images with she and her loved ones earlier this week and I can’t wait to see them when they arrive! (We’ll share on our Instagram so you can enjoy too!) Best wishes on all your future endeavors, Miranda! It was such a pleasure photographing your session!

Fall Senior Portrait Photos in Green Bay

Fall Photos, Green Bay Abby is so cool. If I were in high school; I’d want to be her friend. She’s into art and photography, has a great sense of style, and plans on going to school for criminology. Beyond all that, she worked in a tattoo parlor for most of high school and even did some designs herself…see? Cool.

Green Bay Fall Senior Photos

When we got together to plan for Abby’s session, I asked what they were thinking about for location or the mood of a location. At first they brought up a really common photography destination here in Green Bay and asked my opinion. I mentioned that it’s nice, but very popular, and they immediately asked what one of my favorite unpopular locations was. That’s how we ended up choosing our fall-centered location full of deep red sumac and drying mustard plants (you know, the things that make my photographer heart skip a beat!)

Fall had certainly arrived in time for Abby’s session; the colors were just starting to turn and the wind was picking up (although those dang mosquitos had yet to die — they happily rest in peace now). Fall light gives such a warmth to images. I love that golden light at golden hour; it doesn’t get much better than that. Congratulations on your senior year, Abby, and best wishes on all the great things your future holds!

Twin Girls Senior Session, Downtown Green Bay & Botanical Gardens

Downtown Green Bay Twin Senior Girls Green Bay Botanical Gardens PhotosEmma and Lauren’s session was the third senior session we got to photograph for twins and it was such a joy! I love the challenge of creating equal images that are completely different to reflect their individual styles. It is also so much fun because of the dynamic of siblings and the fact that we get to do photos of them together as well! Lauren and Emma are really incredible people. They are both musically talented, and individually participate in student council, forensics, and school sports. When we planned for their session, they said the most important thing to them was vibrant color, which is a perfect fit for our style.

Green Bay Senior Photographer

We planned two locations for their session — Downtown Green Bay for rustic brick and bright murals and Green Bay Botanical Gardens where we got to capture golden hour light and vivid yellows and purples that brought out the color in their clothing. Both girls chose fun wardrobe pieces to amp up the color, which worked well for both their individual photos and their photos together.

Their prints, albums, and wall art pieces have been arriving all week and it’s so much fun to see all the ways this family will get to enjoy their session for years to come!

Botanical Gardens PhotographerBriana traveled into town for her session at Green Bay Botanical Gardens. She learned about us from a senior we photographed a few years ago and loved her session so much that she chose the same location. One of my favorite challenges about senior photography is finding new ways to see a space we’ve photographed before. When we get to know people, who they are and their sense of style guides us make images that feel unique to them, no matter the location.

Green Bay Senior Photographer

Green Bay Botanical Gardens is always a dream to photograph because of how many different looks are in one space. Yes there are flower gardens, but there is also a woods, a fountain, a pond, and stone and brick structures all which give us great variety as photographers. Briana is so naturally photogenic that she made our job easy! Best wishes on your senior year, Briana!

Downtown Green Bay Senior Photos

Soren and Erik’s senior session was planned for downtown Green Bay to provide us with an urban landscape for their high school yearbook photos. Twin brothers, Erik and Soren attend Notre Dame Academy where they love to play music, participate in German club, and spend time skateboarding and mountain biking. They liked the idea of a downtown location and we love the clean lines, texture, and creamy neutral tones that photograph so well. With a final year filled with IB classes, their academics are keeping them busy, but will set them up well as they prepare to head off to college next year. Best wishes for the future, Soren and Erik!
