50th Anniversary Photos

Pat and Dayton planned this family session in celebration on their 50th wedding anniversary. They wanted to gather their children and grandchildren together for a nice shot of everyone together, and in the process we also got fun photos of the grandkids together, pictures of them with their three children, and breakdown photos of each family individually. The evening light was perfect and the weather couldn’t have been better at our location at Green Isle Park!

The {H} family is so wonderfully welcoming and Pat and Dayton are full of travel plans and interesting stories. When scheduling when they would like to pick up their album and wall art, we were working around a flight to Ireland, a cruise to Puerto Rico, and a weekend in the northwoods. This family knows what’s important and they make it happen. Congratulations, Pay and Dayton, on 50 years together and cheers to all the big things ahead!

Portraits: green isle park spring maternity session, waiting for baby {j}

When Ashley and Jesse got married two years ago, we were there for their wedding day. We also had the privilege of taking their engagement photos that May in an orchard full of apple blossoms. This winter they’re celebrating a new milestone as they wait for their baby boy due next month.

When Ashley contacted me about her February session, we planned for a “winter wonderland” theme. Imagining layers of snow, and heavy branches in one of the coldest months, we were surprised as the date came closer and the forecast was in the mid-sixties. Wisconsin weather is always out to surprise us! The warm, sunny day was beautiful. Ice still coated the East River, but little buds were on the trees, and the creamy long grasses made for a beautiful spring backdrop. How perfect for the world to be in a season of renewal as Ashley and Jesse await their first baby.

Congratulations! We look forward to meeting him!

Green-Bay-Extended-Family-Photos-Group-Photos-Photography-Green-Isle-Park-Casual-Fun1 Green-Bay-Extended-Family-Photos-Group-Photos-Photography-Green-Isle-Park-Casual-Fun2Warm nights, being outside, and enjoying time with family… that’s what summer is all about! Kari’s family session had all those elements underscored with happy cousins playing and laughing in the park together. It can be a challenge to get extended family together for pictures, but the results are so worth the time spent finding clothes and choosing dates. All four boys did a great job for their session (even little Harry who wasn’t quite two yet!) Each of them have bright and spirited personalities and we loved getting to know them.

Stay tuned on our social media accounts for a couple more sneaks as well as a preview of the wall art displays the family has selected for their homes!

May brings blooming trees, bright green hues, and long beautiful evenings like this one. The {M} Family planned their session in celebration of little Asher turning six months old, but it also made a great opportunity for family photos, portraits of the older kiddos, and a few special mommy/daddy photos with baby number three. There was time spent adventuring into the long grasses, snuggling baby brother, and playing games. Asher is happy and easygoing no matter the situation and he is completely enamored with his big sister. Kendall is smart, funny, and quick to pick up on everything around her, and Trent is playful, sweet, and an absolute ham for the camera. All three did a great job for their session and we had a wonderful evening in the park together!

Green-Bay-Family-Photography-Green-Isle-Park-Fall-Photographer-Kids-ChildrenEvelyn was one of the first newborns we ever photographed. As she grows up (and her family gets bigger too) it’s such a pleasure to continue to photograph she and her baby sister Stella. The {T} Family is wonderful; they are fun, relaxed, and always playful with their girls. This session was the first that the four of them have been outdoors for a session together, and what better setting than a park, where there is room to run, bridges to climb, and mischief to be made. We had a blast teasing and tickling the girls, and photographing on one of the few fall days that was sunny and warm. Until next time, little blondies!

Weddings: katy and adam, green bay community church

Wedding_Green_Bay_Pamperin_Park_Summer_Bride_Spring1 Wedding_Green_Bay_Pamperin_Park_Summer_Bride_Spring2Katy and Adam’s wedding day was the perfect representation of who they are as a couple: down to earth, happy, and centered around their family. It’s rare that a wedding day begins as relaxed as theirs did. The couple chose to spend the entire day together from start to finish – waking up together, preparing their daughters together, and getting ready side-by-side. This meant a playful morning for pictures and no pressure walking down the aisle.  Daughters Lindsey and McKayla were so good, happy to be in pretty dresses seeing mommy and daddy get married.

We know that Katy and Adam had to wait longer than most for their wedding day. The planning process tested their patience and made them work harder than ever for what they wanted, and we couldn’t be happier to see that day arrive. They deserve it. Congratulations, Katy and Adam, McKayla and Lindsey!

We had the most perfect golden afternoon for the {R} Family’s session here in Green Bay, WI.  The weather was beautiful, and the kiddos were happy to be there.  Ashley and Mike were very fun and easy to work with; they are patient, intuitive and really get involved in whatever interests their little ones.  Matthew, the big tough five year old, was a little shy at first but quickly opened up to talk about his favorite movie: Planes.  Ellie and Blake, the cute little twinsies, were celebrating their first Birthdays.  Blake has bright blue eyes, big smiles, and a fantastic tuft of orange hair.  Ellie is full of expression; it takes a fraction of a second for a deep scowl to become and intrigued glance, to become the biggest smile you have ever seen.  This family is so full of love and it was a wonderful afternoon spent making memories with them.
