Kasey & Ben are outdoor,
capturing the beauty of golden, natural light
We are coffee drinkers, journalers, and wanderlusty travelers.
On days off you can find us taking our pup to the dog park, working on our craftsman home, or over-celebrating every little milestone with our family. We have two daughters, a four-year-old named Juniper, and a new baby, Marigold. They light up our lives and keep us on our toes.
A Balanced Partnership
We have opposite personalities (Kasey’s an introvert, and Ben’s an extrovert) but similar ideals and goals, which keep us balanced. For us, inspiration is found in how the camera calls us to capture little moments around us, whether we are noticing them as candids or creating them through hands-on guidance.
Starting Kasey & Ben Photography
We started Kasey and Ben Photography shortly after Kasey earned her bachelor’s degree in photography, and grew it with 12 years of love, devotion, and education.
Kasey comes from a fine art background with an interest in color relationships and a love of film. Ben comes from the technology side with excitement for how an image can be manipulated with adjustments made in-camera.
We blended our perspectives to create the signature style you see in our images —
warm light, vibrant color, subtle posing, and true-to-life exposure.
Photographs outlast everything else
Day-to-day we are often too busy to pause and see the magic in our daily lives. When the day is over, the milestone has passed, and the kids are grown, photographs are a reminder of what it really felt like to be there. We’ve seen how important this is for us and our family, and we feel honored to get to make these images for others.
Keeping things personal is important to us.
We want to get to know the people we work with so we can focus on your needs and create images that express not just how things look, but how they feel.

AboutKasey & Ben
Kasey is adventurous, creative, and keeps me on my toes. She is an idea person, constantly searching for new things to learn and discover. When she doesn’t have a camera in her hands, I can usually find her working on a new painting or making plans for our next trip. It’s her excitement for the small things that make me appreciate her more each day.

Ben is the outgoing one. He is the guy you feel like you have known your entire life only moments after meeting him. The thing that drew me to Ben was his belief that anything is possible. He never gives up, and is always ready to try something new. His contagious sense of humor and undying faith are just a few of the best things about him.

Juniper is our four year old. She is fast, loud, and her hair is always a mess. This girl has the vocabulary of a full-grown adult and knows way too much about underwater things, so when you mistake squid for an octopus, prepare to be corrected. She is a perfect mix of stubborn and sweet, knowing exactly which buttons to push, and how to melt our hearts five seconds later.

- Twirling dresses
Marigold is new on the scene! She is mostly thigh rolls and drool stains at this point, but she is an absolute ray of light. Her legs are always kicking and she greets everyone with an open-mouthed grin and a little heh-heh-heh.

- Raspberries on her belly
Pieper is our rat terrier/hound mix rescue dog. She is going on ten years old now (explain to me how this happened please) and has the patience of a saint with these wild girls in our house. She has big ears and a bigger personality.

I would recommend them to anyone!
Kasey was absolutely wonderful to work with! She took the time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and it showed in the photos. She also responds to our emails quickly, which makes everything go smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone!
There wasn’t a moment missed between the two of them.
We used Kasey and Ben for our wedding photography and were blown away by our pictures. They did a beautiful job of capturing the joy of our wedding day. I appreciated that we had two photographers on our special day – there wasn’t a moment missed between the two of them. They were easy to work and professional. I would absolutely recommend them and we’re looking forward to working with them again on future photo sessions.
