I love when people resurface in your life in a new way. Tiffany and I have known each other for years but hadn’t seen each other in a long time. After years living in different countries and figuring out our paths, she reached out to Ben and I to photograph her wedding to Carlos. Their wedding was the most beautiful, intimate affair at Potawatomi State Park in Door County where they said their vows on the fishing dock and shared a reception with nods to both his culture from Spain and hers from the midwest.

When their first baby, Vicent arrived, we photographed them as a family, welcoming this new little person into the world! And now here they are with little Lucas as well, celebrating his first birthday.

Tiffany and Carlos are incredibly down to earth, patient, and real. I love how gentle they are with one another and with their children. Vicent is a little explorer and the family loves being outdoors, so a fall family session at Bairds Creek was a natural choice. We hiked some of the trails, took candids playing in the leaves, then explored the river with the boys.

As we wrapped up our more posed photos and dug deeper into play, Vicent showed us all his techniques for rock skipping, being sure we were following just the right footwork. As always, it was a pleasure to photograph this little family!
