Molly is a senior at Sturgeon Bay High School, and as the school year began her family realized they still didn’t get senior photos done, luckily, one email later we were able to connect and start planning for her senior session!

Crossroads at Big Creek

September might be my favorite month of the year to photograph. We get the start of fall color, but the sunlight is still going strong. All the bright greens of summer start to turn a little more golden, and the sun-flare is better than any other time of year. September is truly, truly underrated.

Sturgeon Bay High School Senior Portraits

I loved the 70s energy Molly’s hair and outfit brought to the session. Sweater set + corduroy pants, disco-esque cutout dress, and flowing golden hair in natural waves — stunning. We started out near the pine trees and old buildings that line the entrance to Crossroads, then worked our way down the trails to the tall fields full of queen-anne’s-lace and milkweed, all aglow at golden hour.

Sometimes a simple session with only one location, a couple outfits, and less than an hour of time is all you need!
