Gather on Broadway, Green Bay

We love photographing weddings at Gather, in fact, we styled a midcentury wedding there before they even opened their doors in 2016! Gather on Broadway has rustic creamery brick, a big bank of windows, and beautiful lighting. It also has the most gorgeous “getting ready room” and the staff has an amazing way of moving and dividing the space to transform from ceremony to cocktails to dinner and dancing.

The thing about this wedding is that it was even more special for us. Going beyond Kim’s elegant sheath dress, the springy florals, and all the other details we loved, we also love Tyler and Kim. Tyler and I (Kasey) went to art school together over a decade ago. I remember meeting him for the first time in the dorms the second semester of college, then finding ourselves in the same lunch group and a few overlapping classes. We became friends and now we’re both professional photographers here in Green Bay. Tyler does photo/video work for the Green Bay Packers (and if you’re reading this blog right now, I’m pretty sure you know what I do lol).

It’s always flattering to be chosen by another photographer to take pictures on their most important day as a couple. They know what goes into making a good image and that means they see our work and trust us with their memories. We are honored.

Small Wedding, Green Bay

Some of my favorite highlights from the wedding day were Tyler’s mom passing him his dad’s pocket watch, Kim peeking down from the getting ready room to see Tyler nervously moving things around downstairs, their first look in the Broadway District, photos at Leight Park with their teeny-tiny bridal party, and the incredible video Tyler made announcing their wedding to their family and friends. If I could photograph this wedding ten more times, I would. Congratulations, Kim and Tyler!
