Small Wedding Photography

There are so many things I love about small, intimate weddings, but one of the best is how you can make them anything you want them to be. A smaller guest lists there are a world of venue option available to you that could never fit a 200 person guest list, and one of them happens to be in our own backyard here in Green Bay.

Hidden Woods Wedding Venue, Green Bay, Wisconsin

Hidden Woods is exactly what it sounds like: a little clearing tucked deep in the woods, under a dreamy wisteria vine and topped by sugar maples. When Wendy and Brian started planning their wedding, they knew sharing a ceremony with their families was important to them, but they weren’t into the white dress and tux scene, so they planned a wedding that felt like them. The bride and groom wore custom Packers jerseys to celebrate their love of green and gold, and all the guests were encouraged to wear their favorite football paraphernalia as well.

Green Bay Elopement

The wedding ceremony was sweet and intimate. Every guest participated in a unity ceremony in which family members poured colored sand into a jar in layers to represent not just Wendy and Brian joining their lives, but their families intertwining as well.

Green Bay Packers Themed Wedding

After the ceremony, their reception was a casual hangout with good food, giving a very “tailgate” feeling to their celebration, perfectly in keeping with their Green Bay Packers themed wedding. Congratulations, Wendy and Brian!
