High school graduation is filled with all sorts of traditions: homecoming, senior ball, exchanging wallets with friends, graduation parties, and all the planning that comes with figuring out what’s next. Because it’s such a time of transition, I always encourage parents of seniors to consider a family session at the same time.
Green Bay High School Senior Photographer
Sometimes seniors are super excited to have their photos taken — they’ve created a vision board, they’ve laid out outfits, and they know exactly how to describe their aesthetic. Other times, they know that pictures are unavoidable and they’re just trying to get through them as quickly as possible. For those that are less keen on getting their photos done, doing a family session on its own might be met with less cooperation. But a quick ten minutes while they’re already dressed nice in a beautiful location? That’s doable.
Lily Lake, Green Bay
Luke was one of those seniors who wasn’t that excited to have his photos done, but he did have an idea for a spot that he felt connected to — Lily Lake in Green Bay, a favorite fishing spot. We started with family photos, then a couple of the siblings together, and updated headshots, then worked our way toward the water as the sun went down. Luke’s favorite photos were more serious in expression and so we matched with his energy to create the look he wanted.
Green Bay Family and Senior Photos
For the family, this was the perfect time to update their family photos. Both kids were grown, but nobody is settling down, and the next generation was miles away. That makes for an easy updated family photo that will last a long time.
