Oshkosh Wedding Photographers

When Jessica first contacted me about she and Dylan’s wedding, she described herself as a “photography junkie” who loved to take many photos, print them, and surround herself with albums. She said that she knew their wedding day would fly by and she wanted to make sure she had great photography that captured every moment. (That’s where we came in!)

When I asked if she had a vision for their wedding, Jessica said that she imagined bright, colorful florals, and a huge party to celebrate with their family and friends. When it came to planning, Jessica and Dylan sourced all their favorite vendors, pulling us from around the area: the church in Darboy, reception in Oshkosh, photographers and DJ from Green Bay, and even a gelato bar from Rhinelander.

When we asked what drew her to our photography over choosing someone closer to the area, she said she loved our vibrant use of color and knew that we would capture their playful color scheme and florals in a way that made them shine! We are always happy to travel out of our home area of Green Bay and graciously accepted!

Paine Art Center and Gardens, Oshkosh

Jessica and Dylan’s wedding was our first opportunity to photograph at the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh. In the past we’d visited to admire their gardens and take advantage of their holiday celebration: Nutcracker at the Castle, but being their with our cameras and a beautiful wedding party really gave us free range to explore all the spaces.

A late May wedding meant everything was in bloom — crabapples, honeysuckle, lilacs — all fragrant in the gardens. It also meant longer days so we could take advantage of stepping outdoors after dinner at Oshkosh Convention Center to capture the golden hour sun setting over the river.

Jessica and Dylan had the most beautiful wedding and definitely got the “big party” they envisioned, complete with a coordinated dance performance put on by their friends and family. It couldn’t have happened to nicer people and we are so glad that we got to be a part of it!
