Portraits: charlotte’s sitting session, green bay, wisconsin

Most of the time we consider ourselves outdoor photographers, but here in Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable when it comes to photographing little ones. We decided to hold Charlotte’s sitting milestone session indoors with light, springy colors inspired by April (and that completely adorable kitty dress!) It’s always amazing to me what a different experience it is from photographing newborns at a few weeks old and having them return at six months. The last time we saw Charlotte she was a sleepy, squishy bundle, and now she is smiling, interactive, very observant, and of course, mobile. Sitting sessions are one of my favorites because of all these changes and the amount of personality that can come through in the images. We can’t wait to see how much she changes by the time one year photos roll around!
