Green Bay Family Photographers
When our children are young, we’re more apt to update their milestone photos. We start with newborn pictures, then yearly photos or even a session every six months. They’re growing and changing so much and it just feels natural to continuously capture it.
Green Bay Older Children Family Photos
Then the kids get to be school age and our day-to-day shifts. We get less time with them, their friend circle grows in importance, and extracurriculars and homework take up usually free evenings. Sometimes we can’t even see how much they’ve changed until we compare it with the family photo on the wall that might suddenly be 2, 3, or even 5 years old.
I love when I hear from families who suddenly realize they haven’t had a new family photo in a half decade and their children are entering their teen years or about to head to college and they just know it’s time for family photos
Rustic Outdoor Family Photos
When Julie started planning her family session, she knew she wanted summer and casual. We talked about types of locations and eventually settled on Fonferek Glen as it has a casual, rustic feel to it, with apple trees, tall grasses, and an old granary barn. It was a good match. I loved getting to take these family photos as I could tell her girls were just in that moment before everything changes — serious boyfriends, leaving for college, and generally becoming young adults.
The sisters photos were my favorite, because even though they’re grown, they still have that same big/little sister dynamic as my little girls, and setting them up to snuggle in the grass or twirl in the field, you could see those childhood expressions come back.
