We snuck Bryan’s senior portrait session in just in time to make the yearbook cut-off. This made for a chilly day outside in early March, but it also created fun and original images. Bryan is a senior at Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, although he and his family are originally from Arizona. He is thinking about attending UW-Whitewater and studying medical translating, and possibly playing soccer (he plays forward for Gibraltar’s soccer team). We photographed his session in downtown Sturgeon Bay for a fresh, urban feel. Bryan was very easy to get to know, and we loved his sense of style!
As a funny session note, since it was such a windy afternoon, we ducked into business alcoves between shots to keep warm. While in front of a jewelry store, the Sturgeon Bay Police Department showed up investigating a possible break in at that business. We explained why we were there, and they checked the doors to make sure they were secure. I’m guessing wind gusts must have triggered it, but it was a funny little moment that Bryan will get to remember his session by. (Also, we would have been pretty terrible burglars just standing casually outside the door wearing cameras and watching the police with interest.) Congratulations, Bryan, enjoy the rest of your senior year!
