Sepia Chapel Wedding Photographers

Keisha and Alec are the sweetest couple. As we laid out their timeline and talked about different options — first look vs. seeing each other down the aisle, getting ready together vs. separate — it became clear that their wedding day would not start either of those ways, it would start with a visit to and pictures with their dog, Aurora, and Alec’s family dog. They couldn’t be involved in their ceremony, but nothing was going to stop the couple from starting their day in this special way.

Now onto the venue! We’ve worked with the owners of Sepia Chapel in the past, and they are the absolute best! They are the kind of entrepreneurs who can see the big picture. They dream up how something will look — lighting, space, movement, details — while also seeing how each choice will affect how the space feels. So it’s no wonder Sepia Chapel is all clean lines, warm light, and drama!

Lakefront Wedding Photography

This venue was a great match for Keisha and Alec’s wedding vision. So much so that photographing their flatlay details: satin ribbon, green velvet ring box on the dark wood tables in the cool window light was a perfect marriage of object and space. I felt the same way about Keisha’s dreamy beaded gown with the illusion neckline pairing with the old fashioned chandeliers set inside dark, modern hoops. It was just the right spot!

Sparkler Exit Wedding Photography

Just as the night was wrapping up, after beautiful toasts, an amazing pizza and salad bar, and lots of dancing, we gathered the bridal party outside for a little “sparkler exit” send-off. I love this moment because you can just see the expressions in their faces as they’re having the best night of their lives. Congratulations, Keisha and Alec!
