Jacob wanted to choose a location that would have a lot of variety for his senior photos and Voyaguer Park in De Pere is perfect for this! At the center of the park we have a traditional park look — trees, benches, grass — but then there’s also the industrial bridge aesthetic, cozy little lock-tender’s house, and of course the river.
Jacob attends Green Bay’s West High School and plays for their football team. He chose our simplest senior session (Seniors 101 which includes two outfits and pictures at one location) and wanted a traditional outfit for his first look and a swap to his jersey for the second outfit. We got beautiful golden hour light which shined brightly while we walked along the water and was gently diffused by the time we made it down to the docks.
There’s something so special about September light. Yes, the sessions have to start earlier, and we know the chilly weather is just around the corner, but the softness and warmth that comes in September is unbeatable. Congratulations to Jacob!
