Elise and Kristian planned their wedding in Fish Creek, Wisconsin at Peninsula State Park for a Wednesday afternoon in August.  Having the ceremony later in the day gave us gorgeous light that came directly across the bay as they said their vows and slid down into sunset as they celebrated with their families.

I cannot say enough about how much I loved this wedding. Elise and Krisitan each chose one attendant, and had a small guest list of 27 people, which gave the day a very cozy, festive feeling.  The flowers were grown by Elise and her mother and bouqueted that morning, her brother made the lovely cake, and Kristian’s brother played acoustic guitar throughout the ceremony.

The entire day spoke about who the bride and groom were as a couple: there were no obligations in terms of guests, no compromises in style, and no pretending to be anyone other than themselves.  We enjoyed every minute and are so happy to have been a part of such a genuine day.  Congratulations, Elise and Kristian!

Beautifully written. You took the words right out of my heart. Your photography is beautiful and tells a great story!

I am Kristian’s aunt and was honored to be one of the guests at this wedding. The ceremony was a wonderful reflection on the couple. Wishing them the best in the years to come.

As the mother of the bride, I could not be more pleased with the wedding and the photography. Kasey and Elise are friends and have known each other since they were in grade school. I am an art teacher that loves photography. Kasey and Ben artistically photographed the wedding before, during, and after the ceremony. They never demanded anything, as I have seen other photographers do. Thank you so much for the beautiful memories of that special day.
