Holly and Alex are down-to-earth and creative, two characteristics that set the tone for their wedding plans. The day was filled with many little details that had their personal touches on them: birch ring boxes made by the groom, seasonal flowers arranged by the bridal party, and the most beautiful arbor for the ceremony. Holly and Alex got ready for the day in the residential portion of Barnsite in Kewanee, meeting downstairs for a first look. They had a moment together before photos followed by an intimate outdoor ceremony under the cover of old shade trees. The afternoon was filled with a ceremonial beer tapping, yard games, and a build-your-own taco bar. By evening the sun began to get golden and the four of us made our way to Lake Michigan for some waterfront photos of just the two of them – happily married and so thankful for such a beautiful day. Congratulations, Holly and Alex!
