Rainy wedding days are especially beautiful in autumn. The layer of water droplets on each surface brings out the vibrancy of the leaves and gives every surface a lustrous shine. Kaitlyn and Elijah chose a blush and navy color palette for their wedding which shook up the traditional fall colors. Her bouquet was layered in pale roses, hydrangeas, and greens with a tiny pin belonging to her grandmother tucked into the stems. Their small wedding party kept the day feeling intimate and the two tiny flower girls – twirling through in umbrellas – made things feel extra festive. After the ceremony at Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, we crossed the street to He Nis Ra Park to take in all the beautiful fall color. The Citydeck downtown was our final stop, and the muted sunset was the perfect backdrop for our last few photos before the reception. At the KI Convention Center, the ballroom space was lit with a ceiling of string lights and walls decked in colored up-lighting, with the finishing piece being the custom logo of their names projected onto the wall. The evening was full of surprises, dancing, and celebration. Congratulations, Kaitlyn and Elijah!
